Job summary

We are seeking a Family and Systemic Psychotherapist (Band 7-8a) to join our dynamic Community Locality Teams within Forward Thinking Birmingham, working with children, young people and families aged 0-25.We welcome qualified, newly qualified, Family and Systemic Psychotherapist who have completed their training and are awaiting registration. We offer a Band 7-8a preceptorship programme with structured support to progress to Band 8a.

Main duties of the job

• Provide specialist systemic assessment and intervention for children, young people and families
• Work within a multi-disciplinary team and across agencies
• Deliver consultation, supervision and training to colleagues
• Contribute to service development and clinical governance
• Manage a caseload of complex mental health presentations
