Research Funding Officer - Grade 6University

Hours of work: Full-time - 35 hours per week

Hybrid working: Minimum requirement of 40% on Campus, with 60% considered desirable where possible

The University of Liverpool has established a new Research Administration Function as part of the Professional Services Review, bringing together research support colleagues into a more connected, collaborative and flexible model.

The function spans both the Research Funding Office (RFO) and Faculty Operations Research Teams (FORT), providing coordinated support across the research lifecycle and helping to deliver the University's strategic research ambitions.

The new structure will enhance consistency, resilience and service quality while creating greater opportunities for collaboration, professional development and career progression.

The Research Administration Function includes opportunities within:

Research Funding Office (RFO) roles supporting Pre-Award and Post-Award research funding activity, grant administration and compliance processes.

Faculty Research Operations Team roles supporting research planning, governance, REF output evaluation, stakeholder engagement and operational delivery.

Whilst appointed to a specific role, all posts form part of the wider Research Administration Function, working collaboratively to deliver flexible, high-quality support for the University's research community and strategic ambitions.
