Job summary

We are looking to hire a Porter/Driver to work 37.5 hours per week over a 24 hour 7 day weekwithin the Portering Service at Bury & Rochdale based at Rochdale Infirmary

You will also be required to be flexible in your working pattern as you may be required to work evenings, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

Main duties of the job

• You will be required to carry out the full range of portering duties, which may include driving vehicles off and on, site, transfer of patients around the site by wheelchair, trolley or bed, including deceased patients and all associated mortuary duties.
• You may also be required to transfer medical notes and medical supplies around the hospital site to various wards and departments. Please see job description for full details.
