About the role:

Are you passionate about ensuring health and social care research is designed to be as inclusive as possible and want to further your career as a Research Inclusion Advisor? As part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary team, you will have a unique opportunity to contribute to strategy across the RSS Imperial and Partners Hub. The role combines contributing to the strategic direction of our Hub with direct advisory support to innovators, clinicians, health and social care professionals, and academics on incorporating meaningful research inclusion in research design, funding applications, and project implementation.

What we are looking for:

You will have a strong track record in delivering Research Inclusion within the context of applied health or social care research, including supporting researchers in embedding inclusive approaches. You will understand the NIHR funding landscape and inclusion requirements across different funding streams.

Other responsibilities include:

Providing advice to clients about how to meet NIHR (and/or other funder) research inclusion requirements, and promoting inclusive research practices.

Developing, identifying and sharing up-to-date guidance around inclusive research and methods.

Highlighting development needs for the Hub around Inclusion and inclusive practice.

Providing annual reports of Inclusion activities.

Ensuring that Inclusion advice is reflected in the Hub’s databases and reporting metrics.

What we can offer you:

The opportunity to join a collaborative, high-performing partnership that unites the expertise of four leading London Universities with an outstanding record in designing and delivering research.

A supportive environment to develop in your role and contribute to our joint mission to make research more inclusive and meet the needs of the whole population.

The opportunity to continue your career at a world-leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity.

Benefit from a sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 43 days’ annual leave and generous pension schemes).

Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and cycle-to-work scheme.

Interest-free season ticket loan schemes for travel.

A diverse, inclusive and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
