Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity for experienced rehab assistants to join our staff bank. The successful candidates, will support the trust to consistently deliver a client-focused service which promotes good customer service and effective working relationships. They would be working as part of the Intensive Rehabilitation Service (IRS) to provide high quality, timely rehabilitation for patients requiring step up from the integrated health team or step down from an acute or community bed across the areas of Havering, Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham.
Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Carry out and monitor treatment plans under guidance of healthcare professionals
Observe patient progress and contribute to clinical decision-making
Work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) across health, social, and voluntary sectors Coordinate with patients, carers, and transport services to organise care and visits
Maintain and competently use clinical equipment, report faults, and manage stock
Follow health and safety protocols and organisational guidelines
