This is an important opportunity to contribute to key workforce priorities across social care. The post holder will lead large-scale and complex workforce projects, supporting strategic workforce planning and delivery in response to the Eliminating Profit agenda. The role will also involve identifying emerging workforce risks that could impact service delivery, staffing budgets and overall workforce capacity.
Although the role will have a particular focus on Children, Family and Safeguarding Services, the post holder will also need to ensure that the workforce needs of Integrated Adult and Community Services and Education are considered and, where appropriate, integrated into wider workforce projects.
The post holder will provide oversight and leadership for the functions delivered by the Workforce Service, ensuring a coordinated, proactive and effective approach to supporting service priorities.
